My family send cards, watch nativity plays and go carol singing about a fortnight to a week before Christmas Day, we put up Christmas decorations both inside and outside our house, we decorate Christmas Tree, too. During one day before Christmas, my mum cooks chicken in gravy, my dad buys fireworks. On the 26th December the fireworks are displayed by me or my dad.

For centuries еhis holiday has been celebrated together with the whole family, relatives and friends. The same is true about my family. I spend Christmas with my family. My family begin decorating the house about two weeks before Christmas. We decorate the New Year tree with toys, tinsel and sweets. We get together and decorate it. It is fun! After that, we prepare special Christmas meals and dishes. In our family a typical Christmas dish is a roast goose and potatoes and our family salad. On Christmas morning we open our presents.
