I think people like living in period houses because they are full of charm and warmth, they are usually made to last and have stood the test of time. I think that those people who dislike living in period houses hate that there are too many things just want to break down. More over, those houses don't have a lot of insulation. Old houses have low ceilings, bad electricity and water supply. I think people like living in newest houses because they are more convenient than period houses. I think people dislike living in newest houses because they are not made to last. They lack any charm.

Is it better to live in period houses because they look good. The period houses have a lot of advantages. The older homes have character. They are full of memories. The period houses are made to last. But there are some disadvantages of living in them (about them). There no modern conveniences in the houses. It is cold in winter and all year round.
It is more convenient to live in modern houses. It is easier to clean things and make everything look good. But there are also disadvantages about this type of houses. Newer homes lack space (are not spacious). They are just for comfort but not for warmth. They are not homey.
