I disagree with Polina's opinion.I think St.Valentine's Day is a holiday for all people ~~regardless~~ of ~~their~~al l ages.On this holiday I can confess (Show, express, из текста) my feelings to someone and no one will know about it. On this holiday I give postcards and gifts to my friends and family. And I like to do it. Because I love when someone smiles.I like St. Valentine's Day. And I love to celebrate St.Valentine's Day.

I disagree with Gaponenko Tanya's opinion. I think that St. Valentine's Day is a holiday for adults, who have fallen in love. This day is a good opportunity for those (people) who can't say about their emotions. Lovers send love letters to each other on this holiday. We, pupils, can (Should) say about our feelings, give presents and cards to our parents, friends, siblings, classmates every day. In my opinion the idea of this holiday is to spread happiness around people. That is why St. Valentine Day is not the best holiday for me. ( Странно, что распространять счастье не для тебя?) To my mind St. Valentine's Day is an unnecessary holiday, but it is fun if you have someone to celebrate it with.

I disagree with Sonya's opinion. In my opinion this holiday is too commercial. People often buy gifts and cards to show their love. One billion Valentine's cards are sent each year. Can you imagine that about 50 percent of people buy them! It is better to make handmade presents, it is not so expensive, and people will understand your love. In my point of view it's better to spend this money on charity. (Замечательная идея!!!) I think people must love and show their feelings not only on Valentine's day , but every day.
You expressed nice ideas. I am sure You would be able to use more statements from the text.

I think that Valentine's Day is a funny and romantic holiday (противоречивые прилагательные). I think that the main idea of Valentine's Day is to spread love around you~~rself~~. On this holiday , people celebrate and show their love to each other by giving gifts and cards and perhaps by having a romantic dinner. I also send~~ing~~ cards to my friends on this holiday. I really love this holiday.

I agree with Sonya's opinion . St. Valentine's Day is celebrated all over the world. The symbol of this holiday is a ''valentine''. It's a small heart-shaped card. There is a postbox in our school and every year I get several ''valentines'' from my friends and I also send ''valentines'' to my best friends.
I love Valentine's Day because it gives people happiness and joy. For sweetharts this holiday is another reason to show their love.

I love Valentine's Day. I think it's great that there is a holiday ~~dedicated to~~ (не изучали)of love. I like to give and receive cards. On this day, I can tell people how I love them. On this holiday, my dad buys my mum flowers and gifts for me and my sister. Mum prepares a delicious ~~festive~~ (не изучали) dinner. I find this holiday very romantic for adults. They can spend the whole day together, walk, talk about love, and ~~together for~~ have a romantic dinner in the evening.
There are no new phrases from the text. It reminds the description how your family celebrate this holiday.

St Valentine’s Day is celebrated on the 14^th of February . It’s not a national holiday. Banks and offices are not closed.
On this day I like ~~give~~ to spread love and happiness around people. I don’t agree with Polina’s Bobr's opinion, because this holiday is not for adults who have fallen in love. People show their love and care even if they have not ~~yet~~ met their love yet. At school we have a mailbox for valentines for all who want to ~~confess~~e x p ress their feelings. I love this holiday because it gives everyone happiness and joy.

Valentine's Day is a very popular holiday. But who was Saint Valentine? When I asked my parents about him they didn't answer. Now it's more a joke than the real example of love and friendship. There are lots of mysrerious legends about this man but I was attracted with the fact that Valentine actually sent the first «valentine» greeting himself. Valentine fell in love with a girl who visited him in prison on the 14th of February. We can only suggest how happy he was at that moment. So I think we should show our love to each other, use this easy way to express our emotions in time. St. Valentine's Day is a good opportunity to make happy our parents, siblings, friends, classmates, teachers. Every year I send Valentine cards to them. ( I often try to make handwritten notes. It' cheaper And it's a direct expression of my feelings). I think that on this holiday people can say about their feelings. In recent time beloved have been afraid of doing it. So I am fond of St. Valentine's Day because the idea of this holiday is to spread happiness around people. Our world is so unfair. But who knows, maybe Valentine stories are fiction… in any way we have a nice romantic holiday in the calendar!

I disagree with Bobr Polina's opinion.I think this holiday is for all ~~over the~~ people.Any person can take opportunity to show his or her love and exchange small gifts or cards.This holiday has very interesting legends (лучше сказать: There are a lot of interesting legents about this holiday). ~~and~~ from my point of view this holiday was ~~not for nothing~~ called in honor of St.Valentine who helped people to find their love ~~and it was because of this that I began~~ It made me think more about this holiday. For me personally Valentine's day is not a commercial holiday. ~~Not anything else~~.This is the day when people can openly say that they have feelings ~~for~~t o each other.
