What do you think about this tradition? Do you find it strange? Or you love it?
- Some people think that they would prefer to go without it. They don’t want gifts or money or anything like that. Knowing that they are appreciated and that they can make others happy is good enough for them.
- Some people find this holiday definitely irritating. It’s too commercial in their opinion.
- Others don't agree with them. They think that the main idea of the holiday is to spread love and happiness around them is great!

I think that Valentine's Day is fun and romantic.beloved ones can give gifts and flowers. On this day, postcards are given, poems are read. I love this holiday because my dad gives my mom flowers and she is happy. I also love this holiday because my boyfriend gives me a candy in the shape of a heart and reads me poems. I love to be gifted (to be given gifts). Girls and guys are happy to be together on this day. I think all people like to receive gifts.

In my opinion Valentine's Day is so commercial holiday (или a commercial holiday) . If people love their lovers this holiday will not be something special for them. Every day for them with his people is a holiday (with their lovers, nearest and dearest next to them). I would prefer to go without this holiday. but if you don't agree with my opinion, this holiday can be first of all subject a way to take opportunity of the day to say tell his your lovers about your love.

From my point of view St Valentine's Day is a celebration of love, friendship, and profound (не изучали) respect. As for me it is the most romantic day of the year, when love is in the air. It is cool, that people show their love to each other by giving gifts and cards and by having a romantic dinner, It makes people happy. But I have one question: Why are lovely cards it sent only on St Valentine's Day? So I also think, that people should show their love everyday, not just once a year. If it is about sharing love , I just don't understand why we share it on this day especially? I think that love for relatives or love from friend to friend between friends should last forever, instead of expressing love only on this day. So I'm indifferent to Valentine's Day. I believe it's okay that people attach (не изучали) a special meaning
a) attach обычно используется как прикреплять в физическом смысле материальные предметы к чему-то, поэтому к "meaning" этот глагол не подходит,
b) может быть в смысле "причислить кого к какой-то группе", например "attach yourself to sb/sth to this day", опять же в смыле "примыкать")
c) может быть в смысле "придавать значение", тогда используют associate with, attach importance. возможно, лучше было бы сказать We associate it with, it is commonly associated with

3. перевела свою русскую речь в Гугл переводчике, тем более, что в итоговом тексте есть мелкие ошибки, а ты их не заметила.
4. Ты не выделяешь использованные тобой речевые фразы данного параграфа учебника. Не забудь это сделать следующий раз. Будь внимательнее.

I agree that the main idea of the holiday is to spread love and happiness around us. I think Valentine’s Day is a good opportunity for people who can’t say about their
feelings in life ( express their emotions freely), so they can write about them on paper. I think it’s easier. There is a tradition at our school onthe Valentine’s Day that everyone (who wants) may brings Valentine’s cards to the first (ground? первый?) floor of the school. Then three pupils take out all this these cards and “deliver” them to the addressee during the lessons. I like this tradition! Valentine’s Day is a holiday full of love, joy and happiness.

I disagree with Gaponenko Tanya's opinion. I think St. Valentine's Day is a holiday for adult people (adults), who (has have love) have fallen in love (тем более надо было так сказать, поскольку такая фраза предлагалась в тексте). This day is a good opportunity for them those who can't say about emotions. We, pupils, can say about our feelings, give presents and cards to parents, friends, siblings, classmates every day. Because of this fact (That is why, For this reason) I think that St. Valentine Day is not the best holiday for me.
